Blueprint of a perfect idea

Thinking of a truly innovative startup idea can sometimes be a laborious task. However, it doesn’t have to be. Here are a few tips for generating the next idea that will change the world:
Think Simple: The idea should be logical and capitalize on a consumer’s intuition. Its value should be transparent. An individual should be able to use your core product or service and effortlessly see “eye-to-eye” with the creator(s).

Meaning Not Money: Focus on delivering a solution that will benefit and increase the quality of life, rather than what you think will make a quick buck or two. When you provide innovative meaning, you generate consumer need, and doing so will pave the road to fortune.

Master A Process: Find a process that you know inside and out, dissect it, and then brainstorm a way to make it more efficient. A textbook example of this was Google. Larry and Sergei mastered the art of search, took it apart, and then simply made it better.

Hub It Out: An ever popular idea trend that has yielded an avalanche of success for many is creating a website that offers consumers a central location to fulfill a need. Companies like this provide value, because they create a community that facilitates user-to-user interaction, the exchange of information, and convenience.

Fix A Problem: This one is pretty self explanatory. Think about the everyday problems people have or encounter and then brainstorm a solution to fix it.
